Psychotherapy is a facilitated process of working though undesired human behaviours, thoughts, emotions and experiences. A multitude of psychological methods come under the banner of psychotherapy. For example, Shadow Work, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Counselling, Hypnotherapy, Gestalt Therapy and Client Centered Therapy, are but a few of the most recognised and effective forms of professional therapy. When seeking help and support for painful life experiences we may wonder - which form therapy is best?
A Restore-i Psychotherapy session draws from a combination of Counselling, Client Centered Therapy, Hypnotherapy, C.B.T, NLP, Gestalt Psychology and Quantum Mechanics – Observer Effect and Entanglement to unveil the context of our lives. As humans we individually experience personal situations within a context or framework, from here we create and attach stories, in order for us to make sense of where and how we fit in the world. For each of the roles and positions we play within these frameworks we will have unique stories and beliefs attached. Each family and social dynamic differs for each individual and plays a significant part in our formative years in who be believe we are. Our environment and experiences designs a network of complementary stories that attach at a subconscious level to derive our sense of self. The thing is are these stories ones we would have chosen to believe are true today?
Also interrelated with context is perception, and how we experience our world and the life we live in it, is heavily influenced by both of these concepts. If the experiences are undesired in a person’s life, then conflict and pain will result.
Sound familiar?
Restore-i focuses on uncovering and approaching the context in which an individual’s experiences or situations are intricately placed within the subconscious mind. A complete re-frame to the contexts and perceptions, which are causing the conflict will successfully change the situation- so the person is no longer limited by it.
